At the most northernly inhabited part of the earth, Eric Brossier, a French geophysicist and scientifi explorer, with is family anchored Vagabond in Grise Fiord 141 inhabitants is located in the Canadian Far North, in the region of Nunavut, where temperatures can drop as low as -40° degrees.
Through a new partnership with Essilor, Eric and his family will take on an additional challenge in 2013 - to help Essilor evaluate the performance of its lenses in extreme light and weather conditions through a unique live testing eyewear. For the Group, "Extreme Testing" project offers a rare opportunity to further knowledge of the human and technical challenges of vision in an environment like no other.
